You feel it before you see it: Your skin appears softer, less defined, and contours lose their firmness. Perhaps they aren’t deep wrinkles – but you feel that your skin needs structure, not just volume.

With collagen stimulation using Radiesse® or Sculptra®, BONITAS offers you a sophisticated aesthetic solution for long-term skin firming – without an artificial look, but with noticeable substance.

What is Collagen Stimulation?

During collagen stimulation, a special active ingredient is injected into the deeper skin layer, which specifically activates the production of the body’s own collagen and elastin there – the natural “structural components” of your skin.

The result:

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

What is Collagen Stimulation?

Collagen stimulation refers to an aesthetic treatment that specifically stimulates the body’s own collagen production. Through special injectable active ingredients – such as Radiesse®, Sculptra®, or polynucleotides – the skin structure is built up from within. The result is firmer, tighter skin with improved elasticity, without artificial plumping. This method is particularly suitable for preventing and correcting loss of elasticity on the face, neck, or dĂ©colletĂ©.

What is a Collagen-Stimulating Treatment?

In a collagen-stimulating treatment, biostimulators such as Radiesse® (calcium hydroxylapatite), Sculptra® (poly-L-lactic acid), or polynucleotides are injected into the deeper skin layers. These substances specifically stimulate the new formation of collagen fibers – for a firmer skin structure, more volume, and visible regeneration. The effect builds up gradually and offers natural skin rejuvenation without volume overload.

What Stimulates Collagen?

Collagen can be effectively stimulated by certain injectable preparations such as Radiesse®, Sculptra®, or polynucleotides. These active ingredients activate fibroblasts in the dermis, which form new collagen and elastin. Microneedling, laser treatments, or focused ultrasound can also have a supportive effect – however, the stimulating effect of injectable preparations is usually more intense and long-lasting.

When Will I See the First Results?

With Radiesse®, a slight tightening is often visible immediately after the injection, as the gel carrier material provides immediate volume. The full biostimulating effect becomes apparent after about 4 to 8 weeks. With Sculptra®, the effect begins more slowly – visible improvements in skin structure usually appear from the second treatment onwards and continuously build up over several weeks. Polynucleotides also work gradually and additionally stimulate cell regeneration.

How Long Does the Effect Last?

The effects of collagen stimulation usually last 18 to 24 months – depending on the product, skin type, and lifestyle. Refreshment treatments can be planned individually and can stabilize the result long-term. A specialist medical consultation helps determine the optimal interval for repetitions.
