Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

The cost of under-eye filler depends on the material used (e.g., special eye hyaluronic acid, polynucleotides) and the treatment effort. At BONITAS, only high-quality products and precise techniques are used – for a natural result without swelling or the Tyndall effect. The exact pricing will be discussed during the consultation. An up-to-date price list can be found online.

Durability varies depending on the product and metabolism: Hyaluronic acid usually lasts 6–12 months in the eye area, polynucleotides about 3–6 months with a regenerative effect. Repeated treatments at longer intervals or touch-ups are possible as needed.

Hyaluronic acid can be problematic in the eye area if unsuitable products or techniques are used. The risk of swelling, water retention, or the so-called Tyndall effect (bluish discoloration) is higher than in other areas. That’s why experienced doctors like Alejandro Marti work with special, finely cross-linked preparations – or switch to polynucleotides or PRP for sensitive skin.

For volume loss, a soft, low-concentration hyaluronic acid specifically injected into the tear trough area is suitable, or even better, autologous fat. For dark circles or fine lines, regenerative substances like polynucleotides or PRP (platelet-rich plasma) are useful – they improve skin structure without adding bulk. Which method is optimal depends on the skin type, findings, and goal – BONITAS will advise you individually.
