Bunny Lines are fine mimic wrinkles that appear on the sides of the bridge of the nose when smiling or wrinkling the nose. They are caused by the repeated activity of the nasal muscle (Musculus nasalis) and become more pronounced with age. Especially with very expressive facial movements or after frequent botulinum toxin treatment of other facial areas, Bunny Lines can become more prominent.

A targeted botulinum toxin injection has proven effective for treating Bunny Lines. By temporarily immobilizing the responsible muscle, the wrinkles visibly smooth out. In some cases, an additional injection with hyaluronic acid may be useful, especially for very deep lines. A precise analysis of facial expressions is crucial for a natural result – we will advise you individually on this.

Botulinum toxin usually shows an initial effect for Bunny Lines within 3 to 5 days. The full muscle-relaxing effect occurs after about 10 to 14 days. The wrinkles gradually smooth out, and the overall complexion appears fresher. The effect generally lasts 3 to 5 months, depending on individual facial expressions and metabolism.

Yes, in certain cases, Bunny Lines can be treated with biostimulating preparations such as polynucleotides in addition to botulinum toxin treatment – especially if the wrinkles are already visible at rest. However, injection with hyaluronic acid directly in the nasal area is usually not recommended, as sensitive vascular structures run there, and there is a risk of circulatory disorders. A combination of muscle relaxation and regenerative active ingredients can achieve a very natural result when correctly indicated – after individual medical assessment.
